This policy covers personal information collected by Repaint Queenstown ("we", "us") through this website and through enquiries about painting and decorating work in Queenstown and the Wakatipu Basin. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020.

We only collect what we need to quote and carry out work:

  • Your name, phone number and email address when you call or email us.
  • The property address and details of the work you want done.
  • Photos you send us of the areas to be painted, and photos we take on site for quoting and record purposes.
  • Basic, non-identifying technical information your browser sends when you visit this site.

This website does not have any contact or feedback forms. Enquiries reach us by phone or email only.

3. How we use it

We use your information to prepare quotes, schedule and carry out work, order materials, invoice you, and follow up about the job. We may contact you afterwards about workmanship or a warranty matter. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your agreement.

4. Who we share it with

We may share limited information with suppliers or subcontractors where it is needed to complete your job, for example, ordering a matched colour or arranging a specialist repair. We may also share information with our accountant or where the law requires it.

5. Job photos

We sometimes photograph completed work for our website or social media. Photos are only used where the property is not identified by address, and we will not publish photos of the inside of your home without asking you first. Tell us at any time if you would rather we didn't, and we will remove them.

6. Storing your information

Information is kept on our phone, email and accounting systems, which are password protected. We keep records for as long as we need them for the job, for warranty questions and for tax and record-keeping requirements.

7. Cookies and analytics

This site keeps tracking to a minimum. Where third-party services are embedded, such as Google Maps or web fonts, those providers may set their own cookies and receive standard request information. Their own privacy policies apply to that use.

8. Access and correction
