Terms & Conditions

The terms below cover the use of this website and the painting and decorating work carried out by Repaint Queenstown.

Placeholder content for this demo. Repaint Queenstown should review and replace this wording with terms that reflect how the business actually operates before the site goes live.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to visitors to this website and to customers who engage Repaint Queenstown ("we", "us") for painting and decorating work in Queenstown and the wider Wakatipu Basin. By using this site or accepting a quote from us, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are based on the condition of the property at the time we inspect it and are valid for the period stated on the quote. Where hidden damage is uncovered once preparation begins, rot, rust, previous coatings failing, or substrate issues that were not visible, we will contact you with the additional scope and cost before that work is carried out.

  • Quotes set out the preparation, products and number of coats included.
  • Work outside the quoted scope is only carried out once agreed with you.
  • Colour and product substitutions are confirmed with you before purchase.

3. Scheduling and access

Exterior work depends on weather and surface conditions. We will give you a realistic start window and let you know as early as we can if conditions push a job out. You agree to provide reasonable access to the property, power and water where required, and to advise us of pets, alarms, tenants or any site hazards before work begins.

4. Payment

Payment terms are set out on your quote or invoice. Larger jobs may be invoiced in progress payments at agreed stages. Ownership of materials supplied remains with us until payment is received in full.

5. Workmanship

We carry out work in a tradesmanlike manner using the products specified in your quote. Coating manufacturers provide their own product warranties, and those warranties depend on the substrate, preparation and conditions at the time of application. Any concerns about the finish should be raised with us promptly so we can inspect and put it right.

6. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply.

7. Website content

Information on this website is provided in good faith and for general guidance. Images may include stock photography used to illustrate the type of work described. Content, text and images on this site may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website. Our liability for the work we carry out is limited to remedying that work or the cost of doing so.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from the date it is posted.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can go to Sam on 022 694 7311, or by email through the contact section on the home page.
